Summary:
The Software Developer will be responsible for developing software applications to help the firm meet its business objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for development/testing/implementation/support/documentation of the software they develop as well as enhance/support existing applications.

Responsibilities:
Develop/support stand alone and web based software applications/ad hoc reports/utility applications to support the firms operations
Design/develop miscellaneous software applications to support business needs
This position requires daily contact/interaction with the Project Manager to integrate software/prioritize assignments/provide progress reports

Experience:
2+ years in Java/SQL/web based programming
Previous experience in software development life cycle methodologies and Object Oriented principles
Expertise with Java/J2EE/XML/HTML/JavaScript
Background with relational database management systems such as MySQL
Experience in frameworks such as JSF/Ajax, Spring/Hibernate/Struts
Experience in Application Server technologies (JBoss, Tomcat, etc)
Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and the ability to script languages (shell scripts, awk) for automation and programming tasks
