Title:
Financial Planner Assistant

Description:
Summary/Responsibilities:
Work closely with planners to handle client issues/phone calls/meeting preparation and follow up
Work with planners and other staff on trade execution and other tasks as needed
Prepare meeting notes for planner review following meetings
Create actions in Junxure - delegate as necessary
Follow up on tasks identified by planner
Examine Wills/Trusts and fill in Estate Section in Junxure
Work with Tamarac software to help with recommendations for trades to rebalance client portfolios for planner review
Place trades once they are approved by planner for client portfolios
Prepare spreadsheets as needed to illustrate concepts
Help clients with questions/concerns
Attend prospect and new client meetings with planner take notes and input Junxure actions
Assist planner with initial investment plans and their implementation
Client account management follow up with clients and Schwab via phone and email on ongoing issues - requests for cash, changes in monthly cash flow, account beneficiary issues, closing individual accounts, etc
Participate in Investment Committee Meetings (after 90 day probationary period has passed)
Evaluate 401(k) and 403(b) fund choices.
Work with planner on making recommendations
Research projects on different investments, writing memos or reports, creating new tools or spreadsheets to streamline daily activities

Requirements:
4 year degree required
3-4 years in a financial institution supporting planner/broker required
Detail orientation, intelligence, great verbal/written communication skills, and good problem solving skills required
Good computer skills in all Microsoft applications required
Ability to create and navigate Excel spreadsheets
Experience with Portfolio Center, Junxure or Tamarac a plus
